Allotment update.

May....

June....

Have been knitting, have been spinning but there's too little time and too much to do to feel like blogging. Summer is for gardening, really. I'me off to Woolfest tomorrow though. Head Prefect on the Guild bus as usual so I'll see some of you there, I hope? Might even manage to blog and tell you about it.

But next week even the allotment will have to take second place. I'll be packing for the big summer camping trip because we're off to the Netherlands, Belgium, Paris and Normandy for four weeks in the trailer tent. The poor allotment will get weedy and neglected and my sister will get to pick all the strawberries, bah. No, my sister does not do the weeding thing. She does cat sitting and hoovering but gardening is not one of her stronger points.

Oh, the cats? They are enjoying the summer too.

Oh, Fishwife, it's good to hear from you! although you make lesser vegetable-growers like me feel pretty small. Have a great summer!

You're back! Lovely to hear from you even if you are just "passing through". FYI I am writing to you from the Canadian Landing Beaches and this weekend is splendid-- lovely weather, and the seaweed, flies and tourists are not here yet.

Bonnes vacances!

Aargh! I will miss you entirely this year! We won't be in Edinburgh until the 8th, and I doubt you will be back before we leave on the 20th?

Looking forward to hearing about Woolfest. Would have been great to go this year but not possible at the moment. Your allotment is making me well jealous. Just been booking a few comedy tickets for Edinburgh Fringe. My sister is spending part of her honeymoon at the fringe (with her husband I might add!) and we are going to go to some shows together. I guess some people might think it is pretty weird to join your sister on her honeymoon but it was her idea!
